SPUTHE 5-SPEED CASE AND CONVERSION KIT
 

The Sputhe 4 to 5-speed case assembly case bolts to stock 4-speed transmission plates and cast inner primary covers. The kit comes complete with hardened dowels, transmission plate studs, “fifth bolt” stud, primary cover studs 25 mm X 20 mm layshaft bearing, metric pilot bearing with adapter sleeve and all gaskets. All other parts required are stock H-D. Installation requires shortening the lay shaft 1/4 inch, shortening the shift fork shaft 1/8 inch. Some inner primary covers must be relieved of sprocket nut clearance and the access cover needs a very slight relief for starter motor clearance. Also available with hydraulic clutch release. Note: Item may be ordered polished.
